Upcycling and recycling

Cat Town, upcycling, cats
Cat houses, made in 2017 by Cat Town volunteers from boards – recycled materials.

🌿The position of our NGO is that garbage should not end up in a landfill, where organic matter will emit greenhouse gases and inorganic matter will take centuries to decompose. In addition, landfills occupy vast natural areas.
That's why we're glad to see socially responsible businesses and activists taking sorted waste and at least sending “non-recyclable” materials for incineration.
Here we will post examples of our cooperation with thematic organizations.
🌿 We support upcycling - artistic recycling of garbage with the improvement of the quality of an “unnecessary thing”. This is when not just a balloon becomes a balloon, but “used” wooden boards become material for cat houses, clothes (textiles) become bags, and similar examples.
Most of the Cat Town is built from recycled materials, because we are convinced that with the sum of knowledge, repairmen are able to create miracles and save nature from garbage. In the Blog, you can read about the formation of the Cat Town through constant recycling.
